George T. King was a genealogist and great contributor to Find A Grave. For those who didn't know him, George was a dedicated human being, who took his job and his friendships seriously...but always with a smile on his face. He was a good person who will be missed by many.

Obituary:


George T. King, 61, of Wintersville, died Wednesday, June 6,
2012, at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 20, 1951, in Steubenville. He is the son of the late George A. and Helen Duplaga King.

George was employed by the state of Ohio Department of Public Safety, where he was an investigative agent and was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1969, and West Liberty class of 1980.

Surviving are his wife, Michalene Matuska King whom he married October 26, 1974, one daughter, Lisa (Marek) Kulpa of Martins Ferry, Ohio, one sister, Helen Jung and one step grandson, Thomas Kulpa.

George was a member Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, K of C #4361 Mingo Jct., Fourth Degree, Father Bigelow assembly, FOP Lodge #144 and the SHS Alumni Association.

Calling hours are Friday 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 9:30 am Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo, celebrant. entombment in Resurrection Mausoleum, Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
