John Henry Foster

Funeral services for John Henry Foster, 69, were held at 4 p.m. Jan. 26 in the
Callaway Memorial Chapel. Officiating were Elder Anderson, Elder Olson, Elder
Wright, and Elder Crowson.

Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery near Lovelady.

Mr. Foster, a resident of Lovelady, died Jan. 24, in Huntsville Memorial
Hospital. He was born May 13, 1905 in Comanche.

He was a member of the Lathrop Lodge 21 AF & AM and the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mable Foster of Lovealdy; two daughters, Mrs.
Marie Myers of Houston and Mrs. Emily Walker of Gatesville; a son. Robert Eugene
Foster of Houston. Also, two step-sons, Clifton Whitehead and Clifford
Whitehead, both of Houston; a step-daughter, Mrs. Leoda Barrilleaux of Sulphur,
La.,; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren,
and two step-great greandchildren. And four brothers, Tom Foster and George
Foster, both of Madisonville, Edgar Foster of Coldsprings, and Heber Foster of
Crosby; and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Peterson of Tangent, Ore., Mrs. Janie Ross
and Mrs. Ella Satterfield, both of Houston, and Mrs. Lilly Burr of Madisonville.
Callaway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
