VALPARAISO--Mrs. Mary E. Sager, age 87 years, died at the home on Sager road, Thursday. Three months ago she suffered a paralytic stroke from which she never recovered. She was born in New York and came to this county at the age of 19. Here she was married to William Sager who precedes here in death, he having died in 1884. Ten children were born to this union, four of whom survive: Chauncey, Charles, and Albert Sager, at home, and Mrs. G. W. Normand of Martinsville, Ind. One grandson and four great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Sager was a member of (?) with the Rebeccas and the Womens' Relief corp. One brother, Anson Gifford, of Chicago, also survives.
