Mary Ann Sudduth was one of 12 children born to Alexander & Catherine(Benson)Sudduth in Clay Co. Mississippi.
She married Henry Washington Lewis in 1881 and moved to Henderson Co., Texas in 1892.
They had 9 children: Florence May, Sidney, Henry Walker, Joe Ivy, Freddie Jean, Effie Gene, Oma Lee "Minnie", Jessie Lee, and Helen Juddie Lewis.
Mary Ann was pre-deceased by her husband and 2 children: Sydney, d.1900 and Jessie, d. 1926.
Mary Ann died in Parkland Hospital of bronchial-asthma and was buried in the Dallas City Cemetery at 10606 Shady Trail, Dallas, TX.
