He was a 53-year member of the Quiet Birdmen and currently was a charter member of the Conroe Quiet Birdmen Hangar. Jerry's life was focused on helping and serving others. He was preceded in death by his wife Alyce S. Goins and son, John Shields Goins. He is survived by his children, Jerry L. Goins, Jr. and wife Doris, Nancy L. Sanders; grandchildren, Natalie Rayne Sanders, John Michael Goins and Diana Patricia Goins; brother, John Raleigh Goins and wife Willie Mae, along with numerous friends and colleagues.
