He was engaged in the Highview community near Alta for many years, and came to make his home in Storm Lake about eight years ago. He had been in failing health for some time and more recently was confined to his home being constantly cared for by his wife, Laura, who survives him.
He is also survived by three daughters and one son: Mavis (Mrs. Russell Pedersen) Alta; Maesel (Mrs. Carl Sweet) of Storm Lake; Ruth (Mrs. Delbert Johnson) Linn Grove; Nathan of Alta and 10 grandchildren.
