MRS. ELEANOR LOVELAND FOWLER, Born in Bridgeport, she lived in Bloomfield most of her life. She was president of Wintonbury Manor Convalescent Home in Bloomfield for 30 years until her retirement in 1960. She lived at Avery Heights Home and died at Hartford Hospital.

WINTONBURY MANOR CONVALESCENT HOME that Eleanor managed was located at 776 Park Avenue, directly across from Bestor Lane in Bloomfield. House and barn were torn down and replaced by a shopping center about 1960. Not to be confused with Wintonbury Manor currently located at 140 Park Avenue.
