The funeral of HOWARD S. LOVELAND was held at his home yesterday afternoon. The services were conducted by Reverend H.H. Wolf,Jr, and Reverend C.A. Riddock.of Hartford, who spoke of the life and character of the deceased.
Mr. Loveland was a member of the Bloomfield Baptist Church, having joined about four years ago and a faithful worker here. Mrs. George B. Ashwell, Miss Mary Wiggins, H.C. Higgins and Owen C. Wolf sang "Sometimes We Will Understand" "Saved by Grace" and "There Will Be No Dark Valley". The bearers were Owen C. Wolf, Ralph R. Wolf, Gilman H. Wells, Fred C. Newberry, Herman J. Rowley of Bloomfield and Robert Griswold of Hartford. The burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.
