Henry Timmerman, 89, resident of the Minonk area most of his life, died at 11 o'clock last night at his home, southwest of here, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at the Tallyn-Folkers Memorial home, Rev. Charles Buchmueller, pastor of the St. Paul Evangelical and Reform church officiating. Burial will be in the Minonk cemetery.

The son of the late Peter and Anna Timmerman, the deceased was born Nov. 19, 1863 in Germany. He came to this area with his parents at the age of nine and had since lived here.

He was united in marriage in Minonk March 31, 1892, with Marie Meiroth, who preceded him in death Nov. 26, 1951.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Katy Von Behren of Minonk, Mrs. Anna Uphoff of El Paso, Mrs Josephine Koopman of Flanagan, Mrs. Marie Jacobs of Minonk; four sons, Peter, Henry, Jr., Herman and Walter all of Minonk, 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Timmerman was the last member of his immediate family, three brothers and one brother having preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Saturday.
