SURGOINSVILLE – Samuel K. Bass, 71, of Surgoinsville, died Friday at 5:15 p.m. at Holston Valley Community Hospital.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thales Ward and Miss Carolyn Bass; and brothers, Charles and H. E. Bass, all of Surgoinsville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Surgoinsville Baptist Church. Rev. Norman Lytton and Rev. Ronnie Sorah will officiate. Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery.
The body will be at the residence in Surgoinsville at 11 p.m. Sunday and will taken to the church one hour before the funeral.
