Peter Grant Dies
At Age of 90 Years
In His Residence
Peter Grant, 90, of 275 Seaward
Ave., retired employe of the Grant
and Mohan Oil Co., died at 4:35 p.m.
yesterday at home following
an extended illness.
A native of Ireland, Mr. Grant
came to this country when he was
16. He lived for about one year
in Ohio before coming to Bradford.
He was born March 25, 1866. Mr.
Grant retired about 20 years ago
after serving as a lease pumper.
He was a member of St. Francis
Church.
Surviving are a son, Arthur, and
a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Hurd,
both of Ebenezer, N. Y.; another
daughter, Mrs. Emery J. Allen,
Bradford; three grandchildren,
Frederick Allen and Peter Hurd,
Ebenezer; and Emery J. Allen Jr.,
Fort Wayne, Ind.; a great-granddaughter,
Linda Marie Allen, Ebenezer;
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the Healy
Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock In
St. Francis Church. Burial will
take place in St. Bernard Cemetery.
