RANKLIN -- Elizabeth C. (Brooks) Brizer, 72, of 59 Daniel Webster Drive, died April 25, 2010, at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia following a period of failing health. She was born in Lyndon, Vt., Feb. 8, 1938, to Lester and Charlotte (Rock) Brooks.

She lived in Belmont and Northfield before moving to Franklin 24 years ago.

She worked for several years at the former Cormier Hosiery Mills in Laconia and Belmont and Avid Engineering in Laconia. She later worked in the laundry department at Merrimack Country Nursing Home in Boscawen, retiring due to ill health.

Family members include her husband of 50 years, Clifford J. Brizer of Franklin; three daughters, Kathleen Klinger of Derry, and Lisa Hodgdon and Ann Brizer, both of Franklin; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman Brooks of Northfield. (Union Leader 4/27/2010)
