Our sweet daughter, granddaughter, and sister, Shannon Kaye Brooks, 16, returned to her Heavenly Father, August 15, 1995.
Born April 29, 1979 in Murray, to Wayne Kay and Debbie Blake Brooks. Shannon was an active member of the LDS Church, and loved to serve others. She was a member of the Jordan Symphony, West Jordan High School Orchestra, and Honors Orchestra at the University of Utah for 1995.
Survived by her parents, Wayne and Debbie Brooks; sisters and brothers, Jessica, Kimberly, Timothy and Kenneth; grandparents, Walt and Lucile Brooks and George and Leola Blake; and by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services Saturday, August 19, 2 p.m., River 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 7150 South Callie Drive (1520 West). Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Friday 6-8 p.m., and at the ward Saturday one hour prior to services.
Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
