25 Apr 1915: At Hamlin, on the 23rd inst.; Mrs. Rev. George Lentz, aged 74 years. Funeral on Tuesday at 1:30 o'clock from her late residence at Hamlin. Services and burial at the Wolf Union Meeting House.

Mrs. Lizzie Klopp Lentz, wife of Rev. George Lentz, of Hamlin, died on Friday from pneumonia, following a brief illness, aged 74 years. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon with services and interment at Wolf's meeting house. Mrs. Lentz was the second wife of Rev. Lentz and at the time of her marriage, 22 years ago, was a daughter of John. She leaves her husband, a brother, John Klopp, of Mt. Aetna, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Schell, of Myerstown, and Mrs. Jessie Sholl, Stouchsburg. [Lebanon Semi-Weekly News, April 26, 1915, Page 8]Elizabeth "Lizzie" Klopp Lentz was the daughter of John D. Klopp and Susanna Dundore Klopp of Tulpehocken Twp., Berks County, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the Reverend George Lentz, an elder and minister in the United Brethren Church of which she was an active member.

She was the sister of Benneville Darius Klopp, Adam D. Klopp, Jared D. Klopp, and Susan Sarah Klopp Schell.
