DEATH CLAIMS WELL KNOWN CORNINGITE SUNDAY EVENING.
Mrs. Mary Hannah Osborn, 77, passed away last evening at her Houghton Avenue home following a short illness.
A member of a pioneer family, Mary Hannah Markham was born at Stony Creek and resided in Tehama county her entire life. Prior to coming to Corning to make her home, Mrs. Osborn lived in the Flournoy district for several years.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Alfred H. Osborn of this city: a son, Alfred S. Osborn of Pasadena; four grandchildren. There are also many other relatives. A daughter, Ila, and a son, Albert, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Corning Mortuary chapel, with interment in Sunset Hill cemetery.
