He was the son of Samuel O. & Lucy M. Torrence. He married Martha. They had a son Jack Harrison "Harry" Torrence Jr. who married Donna Gale Huneycutt. Donna was the daughter of Millard Junior Huneycutt and Martha Ann Tyson. She was the granddaughter of Millard Pines Huneycutt and Janie Mae Luther.

Harry and Donna had Justin Harrison Torrence and April Michelle Torrence. Justin married 1st Cissy, 2nd Miranda and children: Taylor Torrence, Jake Torrence, and Jarod Torrence and with Ann- Jordin. Michelle married Heath Brown and they had twins Madison Brown and Makayla Brown and son Cannon Brown.
