[Note: Tidley is not mentioned for this generation in any primary documentation, and has been assumed since there is a Richard Tidley Wells, Jr. If any primary document exists for Sr.'s middle name, please bring it to my attention!]
George and Mary had eleven children and two "assigned as a child by tradition." Nancy Anne and Sarah were the two who were assigned as a "child by tradition." Mary Stevenson might have been a widow when she and George married and Nancy Anne and Sarah adopted by George after the marriage.
