Burial was to be in Tidwell Cemetery near here by Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mr. Cornwell died Tuesday night at Golden Age Nursing Home of Jena after a long illness.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. J. D. Elliott and Mrs. Elmer Ford, both of Goodpine, Mrs. Sid Price of Jena, Mrs. Lee Robinson of Mobile, Ala., and Mrs. Harold Rosselle of Kelly; a step-daughter, Mrs. Minnie Cox of Columbia; a brother, Millard Cornwell of Winnsboro; 30 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
