Mrs. Alma Cornwell, 75, of Kelly, who died recently at a Winnsboro rest home after a long illness, was buried Dec. 30 following services held at the Kelly Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Massey, conducting the final rites.

Interment followed in the Tidwell Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Surviving Mrs. Cornwell are her husband, John A. Cornwell of Kelly; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Robinson of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Minnie Cox of Grayson and Mrs. Mary Evans of Kelly; three stepdaughters, Mrs. J. D. Elliott, Mrs. W. W. Ford, and Mrs. George Price, all of Jena; one stepson, J. A. Cornwell of Urania; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Cornwell of Harrisonburg, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
