Mrs. Mary Jane Bancroft Hineline.
Mrs. Mary Jane Bancroft Hineline, wife of Joseph K. Hineline, died Tuesday morning a few minutes before 10 o'clock at the Hineline homestead four miles south of Chesterton. The deceased had been ailing for several months but had been seriously ill but three weeks.
Mary Jane Bancroft was born in the state of Illinois in 1863. At a tender age she moved to Porter county, Indiana, with her parents where she was reared to young womanhood. She was married to Joseph K. Hineline in 1879 to which union several children were born, three of whom with the father and husband survive the deceased. The children are: Mrs. Fred Cole of Valparaiso, Mrs. Arthur Miskimmins of Michigan City, and Benjamin Hineline, residing at home.
The funeral will be held today from the family residence at 10 o'clock. The burial will take place in the Chesterton cemetery.
