Bolton - Fulrath Wedding Celebration

There was a happy gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Fulrath, at Center Hill, Wednesday, says the Savanna Journal. It was the occasion of the marriage of their twin daughter Laura, to Francis Bolton, of Bolton, Stephenson county. Invitations to the number of fifty were sent out and the cold weather did not prevent any from attending. The house was neatly decorated for the occasion and everything passed off pleasantly.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Beers, of the U.B. church of Mt. Carroll, and the bride and groom were attended by the bride's twin sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Weidman. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Bolton received the congratulations of their friends, after which all partook of a fine wedding spread.

The bride was dressed in a cream colored gown and appeared very charming. Her sister was likewise charmingly attired.

Mrs. Bolton is well and favorably known in this city and vicinity. A pleasant disposition combined with a charming personality makes her a favorite among her friends and all regret to see her leave this place.

Mr. Bolton is not so well known here, but is a prosperous farmer and is said to be entirely worthy of the young lady who he honored with his name.

The young couple will go to Bolton to reside and the best wishes of the Journal and a host of friends will follow them.
