Obituary, Freeport Journal Standard, January 7, 1977:
Mrs. Frank E. Davis of Savanna, a member of United Brethren Church, died Thursday at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton.

Born January 25, 1879, at Center Hill. She was the daughter of George H. and Rachael A. (Ervin) Fulrath. She was married to Frank E. Davis on May 30, 1900, at Center Hill. He died November 18, 1961.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Chester (Dorothy) Parker of Rockville, MD.; a grand daughter; a great grandson and two great great grand children.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, at Law-Jones Funeral Home. Thw Rev T.S. Cleworth will officiate. Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Ida's middle name "Rebecca", is from the Social Security Application and Claims Index. In the 1910, 1920, 1930 & 1940 censuses, Ida was living in Savanna, Illinois, with her husband Frank Elliot Davis, a railroad locomotive engineer.

The only child of Frank and Ida (Fulrath) Davis was Dorothy Alice (Davis) Parker, born on 5 Jan 1902, in Savanna, Illinois, and died on 27 Mar 1999, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dorothy married Chester Valentine Parker, on 3 Feb 1923, in Galena, Illinois. Chester was born 12 Jun 1901, in Chicago: and died 19 May 1989, in Washington D.C. The only child of Chester and Dorothy Parker was Janice Carolyn Parker born 11 July 1928, in Charleston, South Carolina. She died 19 Jun 1993, in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
