Warren Page was born in 1844 to William and Permelia Kendall Page. He was a twin, his brother being named Warner. Warren grew up in Wisconsin and attended the schools there and later attended Wayland University at Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Afterwards, he farmed in Wisconsin for 10 years then moved to Kampeska, Codington, South Dakota in 1882 where he continued farming.
In 1869, Warren married Eliza Marion Scott and they had 3 daughters.
Warren was an active citizen. He served in the Civil War as a member of Company K, Twenty-ninth Wisconsin Infantry, with which he served in the front lines. He served as county commissioner for 14 years in South Dakota. He also served as town clerk and on the Henry school board. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Knights of Pythias and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
