Anna Belle Hardman Raber, 83, of Alliance, died Monday in Taos, N.M.
She was born April 1, 1914, in Bristol, Englandto the late Arthur and Ann (Pomper) Humphries.
An Alliance resident for more than 70 years, Mrs. Raber was a member of Science Hill United Church of Christ. She had recently been honored as a 50- year member of the Lexington Grange and had been affiliated with various service groups and music organizations.
She had worked as a private duty nursefor many years.
Mrs. Raber is survived by five daughters, Shyrlayne Gajdzik of Grafton, Lana Rae Perkins and Dara Dee Burris, both of Alliance, Holly Lylyce Weigand of Orlando, Fla., and Vallene Rhue Weeda of Hanoverton; a son, Charles Eugene Hardman of Baldwin Park, Calif.; two sisters, Peg Cambell and Rita Raver, both of Youngstown; a brother, Charles Humphries of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Roy Wilbur Hardman; her second husband, Frank Albert Raber; a son, Roy Wilbur II; and a grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Science Hill United Church of Christ with Rev. Barry Stirbens officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park.
