Roy Wilbur Hardman, 13600 Greenbower St. N.E. died yesterday morning at Cleveland Veteran's Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Hardman was born in Pomeroy and was retired employee of the Transue and Williams Co. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the United Methodist Church, the sebring Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, World War I Veterans of Alliance, Alliance Chapter 50 of the Disabled American Veterans and the Lexington Grange.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Belle; seven daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Barber of Alliance, Mrs. Ivan (Ida) Wolfenbarger of Orlando Fla., Mrs. Michael (Shyrlayne) Gajdzik of Lorain, Mrs Richard (Lana Rae) Perkins of Niles, Mrs. Russell (Darla Dee) Price of Greenwich, Mrs. Steve (Holly) Weigand of Jacksonville, Fla. and Miss Vallene Rhue Hardman of Niles; three sons, Walter of Leesburg, Fla., Charles of Baldwin Park, Calif. and Roy W. of Alliance; a sister Mrs. Melvina Young of Alliance; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Private services will be held tommorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Alliance City Cemetary.
