She was a Norway rat. Binky Wynter and Gigli were a surprise for me after my pet rat Asia Wynter and all her babies passed away.
She got sick on April 4, 2004. She died from an infection that rats are prone to. She went to the vet twice, but they were not able to help her. The first time she was put in an oxygen chamber and she was better, but died shortly after coming back home. After a trip to the emergency vet and an overnight stay, she was just not strong enough when we returned home. She passed away later that evening. She weighed 175 g.
