Telegraph-Agent Dies
MONTICELLO, Ind. - Services
for Cory A. Corns, 72, retired Monon
railroad telegrapher and station
agent at Monon, will be held
at the Stewart funeral home at 10
a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Harold
Schlebohn officiating. Burial will
be in the Bedford cemetery.
Friends may call at the Stewart
funeral home, Monon.
Corns, who retired in 1955, was
ill five years before death Sunday
afternoon. He lived in Monon 18
years after moving from Rensselaer.
He was a member of the
Rossville F. and A.M., Order of
Railway Telegraphers and Modern
Woodman.
Born in, Radnor March 1, 1884
he was the son of Aurelius and
Esther Antrim Corns, He married
Martha E. Ayres, Jan. 2, 1912. She
survives with, one daughter, Mrs.
Ruth Elizabeth Miles, of Detroit
three grandchildren.
