Mark Pumroy [sic] Corns, 73, died Thursday at 5 a.m. at his home in Battle Ground. Born in Carroll County, he was a son of Aurelius H. and Esther Corns. On June 25, 1893, he married Anna Murphy. His entire life was spent as a farmer in White, Carroll, and Tippecanoe counties. He was a member of the Odd Fellows. Besides his widow, he leaves the following children, Mrs. Joseph Brown, Mrs. Lowell White, Brookston; Mrs. Bernhard Dieterle, Frankfort: Leon Corns, Dayton, In.; Mrs. Glen Withrow, Mrs. Harold Thornell, and Charles Corns, Battle Ground, and Wanda Corns, at home, also two brothers, Raymond Corns, Battle Ground, and Cory Corns, Monon, and a sister, Mrs. William Alburn, Lafayette.
Body at residence after noon Friday. Services Saturday at 2 p.m. Battle Ground Methodist Church.
