Mary Mozeney
CORPUS CHRISTI--Mary G. Mozeney, 86, formerly of Abilene, died Friday at home after an illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Church of Christ South with Gene Graham officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park, directed by Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mozeney was born in Fort Worth and attended school in Abilene. She graduated from Abilene Christian University and taught at Lamar Elementary in Corpus Christi for more than 20 years. She was a volunteer for a widowed persons group and was active in the retired teachers association. American Association of University Women and Church of Christ South. She was the widow of Russell P. Mozeney.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Naismith of Portland, three brothers, E. Howard Green of Memphis, Tenn., Paul D. Green of Sweetwater and Berton B. Green of Fort Worth; one sister, Ruth Bateman of Abilene; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-noon today in the funeral home and 2-6 p.m. today in the church.
