Otus Samuel Rollings retired railroad man
Otus Samuel Rollings, 74, a retired railroad employee, died yesterday at his home, 3909 36th Ave. N.
Mr. Rollings was a native of Tennessee and a retired L&N Railroad conductor. He was a member of the Berdale Masonic Lodge, Inglenook Chapter 165 of the Order of Eastern Star, a Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of the Order of Railroad Conductors.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. tomorrow at Brown-Service Norwood Chapel, with the Rev. B. John Trantham and the Rev. Woodrow Williams officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Rollings is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Rollings; a brother, Robert L. Rollings; a daughter, Miss Edna Rollings all of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. John L. Richards of Manhattan Beach, Calif.
