Funeral services will be held at the Tiscornia and Ivers chapel at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Willie Caroline Richards, 82, who died at the Mariposa Hospital on Saturday, following an illness since 1965. Burial will follow at the Mariposa cemetery. Rev. Jack LaDieu of the Mt. Bullion Church will officiate.

Mrs. Richards was born Feb. 8, 1887, in Nashville, Tenn. She owned and managed a jewelry store in Pueblo, Colo., where she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pueblo, No. 7, and the San Isabel White Shrine of Jerusalem, No. 7 of Pueblo.

Later she moved to Manhatten Beach, where she was a member of the Manhatten Beach Community Church. She has been a resident of Mariposa since November of 1965.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Lefforge of Lynnfield Center, Mass. and Mrs. Mary C. Hays of Triangle Road, Mariposa; three granddaughters, including Mrs. William Shipps of Triangle Road; and seven great grandchildren.
