Harvey George Peppler, 58, of Gill, died Thursday, Dec. 29, at North Colorado Medical Center.
He was born July 7, 1925, at Mead to George and Katherine (Peppler) Peppler.
On June 26, 1947, he was married to Ella Miller in St. Paul's Congregational Church.
Peppler served in the Merchant Marines from 1945 to 1947 and on the Platte Valley School Board for 14 years. He farmed all his life in Weld County. He moved to Gill from Ault in 1943.
He was a member of the Greeley Moose Lodge and St. Paul's Congregational Church. Survivors are his wife, Ella; a son; and two grandsons; three sisters; and a brother.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Congregational Church, Pastor Ted Meter officiating. Interment at Linn Grove Cemetery.
