Mrs. Leah Hershey
Spring Grove – Mrs. Leah Sterner Hershey, widow of Wilson C. Hershey, died yesterday at 9 a.m. at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Myers, Spring Grove RD 1, with whom she resided. She was 89.
Mrs. Hershey was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sterner. Surviving, besides her daughter, are a son, Wilson E. Hershey, Spring Grove RD 2; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Joseph W. Seitz, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, will officiate at funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the Sauter Funeral Home, North Main Street. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
