BUXTON, NC-Ephraim Riggs Midgette, 87, a native of Buxton and the widower of Cedric Scarborough Midgette, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 1983, in a hospital.
He had retired as a barber and as the operator of a general store.
Survivors include two grandsons: H.B. Midgette and Joe Midgette, both of Garner, and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Friday in Buxton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Lewis Pittman. Burial will be in Quidley Family Cemetery.
