A veteran of World War II, Mr. Collar was retired from the N.Y.C. railroad and was a member of the Clearfield Eagles and Clearfield American Legion, Post No. 6.
He is survived by the following children: James Blair Wisor, Daniel Blair Collar, Mrs. Leonard (Kathleen Audery) Hudson, all of Clearfield, A Lamoyne Collar of East Aurora N.Y., Thomas Jacob Collar of Greenriver, Wyo., Donna Jean Collar and Beverly Ann Robenolt both of Mineral Springs and Mrs. Donald (Linda) Kline of Glen Richey, 36 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, the following brother and sisters, Lewey E., Robert A., Cathryn E. Cassick, Arietta E. Baney all of Clearfield and Harry C. of Lakeland, Fla.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his first wife the former Clair B. Lanager, on June 6, 1936, his second wife, the former Fay Irene Stiner on Jan 8, 1986, four sons, James C. Ardale B., William A. and Sherman Wistor; two daughters, Dorthy J. Wisor and Elinor A. Wisor; three sisters, Pearl W. Best, Bertha Fama and Gloria Collar, and one brothers, Richard.
Services will be held from the Leavy Valigorsky Funeral Home, Clearfield, Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bernard Wynn officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
