DUDLEY-- Funeral services for T. Waitus Crumpler, 67 of Rte. 2 Dudley, will be
held Thursday at 3:30pm from the Seymour Funeral Home Chapel in Goldsboro.
Burial will be in the Crumpler family cemetery at Stoney Creek. The Rev. Elliott
Hill and the Rev. Marvin Wiggins will officiate. He died Tuesday in Wayne
Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Wayne County and the son of the late David
and Maggie Howell Crumpler.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Tilton Crumpler; two sons, Gene Crumpler
of Pikeville and Anthony Wayne Crumpler of Rte. 2 Goldsboro; a daughter, Mrs.
Connie Bertrand of Kaplan, La.; a brother, Thomas Crumpler of Rte. 3 Snow Hill;
five sisters, Mrs. Drovie McKeel of Goldsboro, Miss Mildred Crumpler of Rte. 2
Goldsboro, Mrs. Katie Jones of Swansboro, Mrs. Martha Biscontini of Old Fortge,
Pa., and Mrs. Celia Wade of Rte. 7 Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Crumpler, junior Coley, Ralph McKeel, Roger Wade,
Dwight Wade, and Harold Crumpler.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
