Surviving are his wife; two sons, Thomas Crumpler of Snow Hill and Waitus Crumpler of Pikeville; six daughters, Mrs. Jodie McKeel of Pikeville, Mrs. Freeman Coley of Mount Olive, Mrs. Gene Biscoutine of Old Fort, Pa., Mrs. James Wade and Mildred Crumpler, both of Goldsboro, and Mrs. Harlee Jones of Swansboro; one brother, Oscar Crumpler of Swansboro; and 20 grandchildren.
