Jack Clark Allen May 19, 1922 - January 26, 2008Jack Clark Allen, age 85, Russellville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County on Friday, May 19, 1922 to Lee Allen and Mae McShirel Allen. The visitation will be 12-2 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 28, 2008. The 2:00 p.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Clint Busler and Bro. Chad Beck will officiate. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens. He is survived by son, Joe Bradley; grandsons, Joey and Joel Bradley; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Mayfield Allen; daughter, Connie Walker; parents, Lee and Mae Allen. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Russellville. He was a WWII Army veteran, a retired member of Local 917 Operating Engineers-IUOE of Chattanooga, Tn. When Jack retired he returned to his birthplace in Franklin County, Al. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
