Doris Mayfield Allen, age 75 of Russellville, passed away Monday, March 13 at Shoals Hospital. Mrs. Allen was born in Franklin County, only left to follow her husband to Chattanooga, Tennessee, after World War II where they retired after 35 years. They returned to Russellville in order to help care for her elderly parents. She was a member of Asbery Methodist Church in Chattanooga where she served on the administrative board, Pastor-Parish Relation, and was a lifelong member of U.M.W. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clint Busler officiating. Interment was in Franklin Memory Gardens.
