Norma L. McClain, 72, of 1208 N. Second St. died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1997, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born Dec. 21, 1924, in Harrisburg to William and Helen Jackson Threet, she married Arthur R. McClain on Dec. 17, 1945, in Morganfield, Ky. He died Dec. 18, 1977, in Chillicothe. One daughter, Janet McClain, and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Michael R. of Chillicothe; one daughter, Cathy J. Wages of Chillicothe; three brothers, Jack Threet of Spring Bay, William Threet of El Cajon, Calif., and Harold Threet of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; and three sisters, Dorothy Gray of Pinckneyville, Phyllis McCollum of Bartonville and Sandra Sue Moldenhauer of Peoria.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Peoria.
