WINTER - Nellie Catherine Winter of 783 Partridge Way, Eugene passed away at the age of 92. She was born February 28, 1871 in Butte County, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edgar Winter in 1944, and three children: PFC. Chester C. Winter in Italy in 1944, Ralph B. Winter in Eugene in 1948, and Matilda Winter in 1900. She is survived by eight children: William of Goshen, Albert of Astoria, and Edgar of Bend, Mrs. Ella Price of Springfield, Mrs. Nellie Inman and Mrs. Vina deBrockert, both of Eugene, Mrs. Bessie Beyerlin of Leaburg, and Mrs. Ruby Bourgeis of Elmira; a brother George Toll of Fox Hollow; thirty-one grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She had been a resident of Eugene for 74 years. Funeral services will be held in the Poole-Larsen Chapel Friday, December 13, 1963 at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Wayne Osborne officiating. Interment to follow in Laurel Hill cemetery.
