Mrs. Barbara Butze
Saturday's Paducah News-Democrat says:

Mrs. Julia Barbara Butze, aged 62 years, died yesterday morning at 1:15 o'clock, after a lingering illness of inflamation of the liver. She died at the residence of her son, Julius Butze, 623 Broadway. Mrs. Butze was born in Golconda, and had been a resident of this city for about a year. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after which the body was shipped to Golconda, Ill.

She is survived by five daughters and two sons, as follows:
Mrs. Kate Smith, of Mechanicsburg, Paducah; Mrs. Lydia Blatter of Georgetown, Colo; Mrs. Lula Searcy, of Golconda; Mrs. Frank Burrows, of Paducah; Mrs. Effie Ramsey, of Golconda; and Messers. Henry Butze, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and Julius Butze of Paducah.

She is also leaves three sisters and five brothers as follows; Mrs. Kate Linder, Mrs. Fanny Palmer, Mrs. George Wolther, Messers. Otto, Henry, William and Eddie Blatter, all of Colorado, and Chas. Blatter of Waltersburg, Ill.

The body of Mrs. Butze was brought to Golconda Friday night and on Saturday morning, at 10 o'clock the funeral took place from the M. E. church to the city cemetery.

A daughter, Fanny May, was born 7 May 1880 and died before 1900.
