Obituary for Joseph L. Zook Newspaper 8/17/1958
Funeral services for Joseph L. Zook, 75 year -old former custom butcher who died Sunday afternoon at the Randolph County hospital, will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at the Clear Creek Christian Church in charge of Rev. Zelma Mills. Burial will be in Fountain Park Cemetery.
The body will be removed from the Maynard and Walker mortuary to the residence, where friends may call after 2 p. m. Tuesday. The Zook home is five and one-half miles north of Winchester on U.S. 27.
Mr. Zook's death was due to injuries suffered last Tueday when he fell while painting on the Donald Brown farm. A resident of Randolph county for 70 years, the deceased came from Denver, Indiana.
Surviving are the widow, Lela; three daughters, Mrs Arthur Armantrout of Bryant, Mrs. Howard Garringer and Mrs. James Spade, both of Ridgeville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dewey Crouch of Columbus; a stepson, Ernest Wysong of Winchester; three half-brothers, Carl of Fountain City, Ralph of Lodi, Calif. and Glen of Tampa, Florida; three half - sisters, Mrs Emma Rodenbeck of Losantville and Mrs. Myria Morris and Mrs. Ruth Stoehr, both of Dublin, 16 grandchildren and one grandchild.

Joe fell on Tuesday August 13, 1958, Died Sunday Aug. 18, 1958 and the funeral was Wed. Aug. 21, 1958
