Mrs. Spade was born in Randolph county, February 11, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Lela Abshire Zook, and was a lifelong resident. She was the president of the Jefferson Home Demonstration club.
Surviving are the husband, James T.; one son, Douglas at home, two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Marlena) James and Mrs. Charles (Darla) Jackson both of Winchester; five grandchildren; one half brother, Ernest Wysong of Little Rock, Ark., two half sisters, Mrs. Arthur Armantrout of Bryant and Mrs. Howard Garringer of Ridgeville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Walker funeral home, Winchester with the Rev. Earl Metsker officiating. Burial will be at the Fountain Park cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service.
