GRAND ISLAND (TNS)--Services for Reuben G Endorf, 61, of 1912 W. Charles St., Grand Island, who died Monday at a local hospital after a brief illness, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Grand Island Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Jack Heck will officiate.
Burial will be at Upland Cemetery. Visitation hours are 3-9 p.m. today at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home, Grand Island.
Mr. Endorf was a former resident of Upland. He was born and educated at Campbell and was a partner with his father in a general stores. He is a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and in 1962 he moved to Grand Island, where he was a nursing assistant at the Veterans Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Norma; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Mary Lou) Jordan of Lincoln, Mrs. Merlin (Brenda) Johnson of Stromsburg and Judith of Grand Island; two sons, Paul of Grand Island and Stewart (sic) of Fremont; five grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Henkel of Campbell, Mrs. Lydia Pavelka of Hastings, Mrs. Maxine (sic) Hermanson and Barbara Endorf, both of Lincoln, and Mrs. Gertrude Reicher of Eureka, Calif., and two brothers, Frederick (sic) of Treasure Island, Fla., and Henry of Fort Wayne, Ind.
