OAK RIDGE, Tenn. —
Arnold Byrge, age 74, passed away Sept. 6, 2010, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born Aug. 5, 1936.
Arnold enjoyed time with his family and all his grandchildren. He was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bratcher and Ruthie (Carroll) Byrge; sons, Eddie, Jerry and Steve Edmonds; grandsons, Kenny Marshall and Aaron Edmonds.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Byrge; son, Robert Edmonds and wife, Lisa; daughter, Patricia Hoy and husband, Larry; brothers, Reddin Byrge and wife, Phyllis, Goldman Byrge and wife, Deatte, and Melton Byrge and wife, Rosie; sisters, Jane Seeber, Addie Marlow and husband, Lester, Bobbie Jean Tackett, and Wilma Carson and husband, Timbo; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Logan, Ohio, with the Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. Friends called at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, on Saturday, from 1:30 until the time of the service. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, Ohio.
