Bahme - Hoover

Miss Maude Bahme,daughter of William Bahme of Porter and John Hoover,of Punxsutawney,were married at the home of the bride's father last Thurday noon. Rev. W.O. Calhoun,of Lindsey,officiating. About fifty guests were present,many of whom accompanied the groom from this place. Friends of both the high contracting parties from Pittsburg and Dayton were also present.An elaborate wedding dinner was served at 1 o'clock and the bride and groom were the recipients of many beautiful and useful presents. Mr. & Mrs. Hoover will reside in Punxsutawney.

She was born in Porter,Jefferson County,Pennsylvania;and was a daughter of William & Catherine Bahme. She was married in 1904 to the late John Hoover,who passed away in 1946.
She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter [Katheryn] DeRaud,in Youngstown,Ohio;while visiting.She was a reside of Myrtle Avenue in Punxs'y.

She was survived by 4 daughters & a son:
Mrs. Carl Holt of Somerset; MrsPaul Schwitzer and Mrs. Clark Redding,of Punxs'y; and Mrs. DeRaud and Wesley Hoover ,of Youngstown,Ohio;18 grandchildren; 1? great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.

Services were held at the Morrison Funeral Home.Burial was in Circle Hill Cemetery with the Rev. E.E. Oney officiating.
