West Pawlet- Funeral Services for John Cook,74, who died Saturday at his home here,will be Conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Robert M. King Funeral Home in Granville, N.Y., by the Rev. Guy Kagey, recter of Tiuity Episcopol Church. Burial will be in the Mountainview Cemetary West Pawlet.
Mr. Cook was born may,29 1905, in East Poultney, son of Delos and Loretta(Barrett) Cook.
He was an auto mechanic and worked for Beecher and Guthie for many years.
Suvivors include his wife Bessie(Olden) Cook of West Pawlet; 2 daughters, Helen Cook and Genevieve Lemery, both of West Pawlet;2 brothers Raymond Cook of Hudson Falls, N.Y. and Art Cook of Bennington ; 2 sisters,Mrs. Lena Winchell and Florence Pete,both of Chicopee, Mass; 3 grandchildren;seven great grandchildren;several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
