Oliver Barnett
Dies At Age 73

Funeral services will be held here Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Oliver C. Barnett, 73, of Woodland Avenue, who died Saturday in the Adrian Hospital.
Mr. Barnett was born January 28, 1890, near Punxsutawney; a son of Clark and Anna Mitchell Barnett. He was married in Hollidaysburg on October 2, 1912,to Mary Zimmer. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here. He was a retired employee of the local Hoffman Brothers Drilling Company where he worked for more than 50 years.
Mr. Barnett was survived by his wife and a daughter,
~ Mrs. Stuart Shaffer,of Rockland Avenue;
three brothers:
~ Thomas Barnett;
~ George Barnett, both of Punxsutawney;
~ Wayne Barnett,of Lewistown;
and five sisters:
~ Mrs. Mary Noerr;
~ Mrs. William Black, both of Lewistown;
~ Mrs. Frank Noerr, of Punxsutawney R. D. 1;
~ Mrs. Myron Holben, of Altoona;
~ Mrs. Grace Landis of Columbus;
and one grandchild and two great-grand-children.
