Mrs. Kornegay, only eighteen years old, died suddenly Friday night at eleven o'clock just as she arrived at a Shreveport hospital, where she was rushed for treatment. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was an active worker in the cradle roll department.
Surviving Mrs. Kornegay are her husband and an infant son, three days old, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Smith, four brothers, Charles, Russell, James, and Huey, all of Winnfield.
